Tuition/Fees and Payment Policies

Payment Method: Monthly payments can be made from your Bank Account or by Visa/ Mastercard. Fees are processed on the 1st of each month. Most of our classes run from September-June. Prices do not include GST.

Non-Refundable Fees: Once processed, the following fees are non-refundable: Registration fee and 1st months tuition ( due at time of registration), Costume rental, Recital fee, Nutcracker fees (if applicable), and Festival Fees (if applicable). Prices do not include GST.

Annual Registration fees: $45 for the first student, sibling discounted rate of $25 per additional student and are payable upon registration and are applied to our classes that run September-June. This fee covers insurance and processing and will be processed at time of registration

Costume Rental Fee: $40 per child will be charged to account on file February 15, 2018 (Hip Hop and Breakdancing students supply their own costume and do not pay the costume fee if they are only registered in these classes.)

Recital Fee:$50 charged on March 15, 2018.  This fee covers a Seymour Dance t-shirt for your dancer, a dvd copy of the show as well as staffing, lighting, venue, rehearsals, scenery and other recital production costs. Additional T-shirts for families with multiple children will be $20 each.

Monthly Tuition: These monthly fees are per student, and are not to be combined with siblings’ hours. First month’s tuition is charged at time of registration to confirm your spot in the class. The remainder of monthly fees will be processed on the first of the month starting in October.

Other Fees (if applicable)

Ballet Exam fees: We will be contacting ballet families at the beginning of January to let you know if your child is ready to take the exam. These costs are TBA and are processed January 10.

Festival Fees: These fees apply to our competitive students only. Cost TBA and are processed on October 15.

❅ NUTCRACKER STUDENTS Students registered in ballet are invited to participate in our annual production of The Nutcracker at Centennial Theatre. Cost TBA and are processed on October 1st.

Withdrawing from a class: When withdrawing from any classes, we must receive  written notice (email is acceptable) by the 15th of the month. The last day to withdraw from classes for the year without penalty is November 15th for December 1st. If you decide to pull your child from classes after November 15th, there is a 60.00 cancellation fee per class.

Missed classes: Classes missed by students will not be refunded unless cancelled by Seymour Dance.

Late Payment Penalty Fee: For accounts in arrears of 15 days, an automatic $25.00 is charged to the account balance overdue.
