What is the Seymour Dance Competitive Program?

Our SDC program is reserved for dancers committed to intensive, performance-based dance training. The students are supported to reach their full potential while learning the value of teamwork, defining their artistry at an accelerated rate, and training at an elite level. Please review this handbook for all information regarding, auditions, placements, prerequisites, costs, and more. 
 
Our competitive dancers have the opportunity to perform regularly throughout the year including our two large-scale annual productions of the Nutcracker and our Spring Ballet/June Showcase. Our Competitive Group/Solo/Duo Showcase in January also gives our students a chance to perform in a professional setting prior to the competition season. Our competitive teams are also greatly relied on to perform at a wide variety of local events including Collaboration, Community Days, Shipyards, local festivals and celebrations, etc.
